newbie help...
Last time I grew, Columbian was $40/oz and we used an old copy of Abbie Hoffman's "Steal This Book" as a guide. It's kind of funny to read things like "some people stoop to smoking leaves", when we grew up doing that for 99% of our high. I can only imagine how much better and higher the world would have been with this MB around back then...
Anyway, I'm trying my best with six CFL's (1700 lumens ea.) and already know I had let her stretch and should have gotten better light on her (obviously the "her" reference is just positive thinking) legs and mid-section...but she's seven weeks old and currently in 24 hr. light. She's from bag seed and has two mates just a bit smaller than her (she's 22").
So here's where we're at. What now? I would humbly appreciate any advice possible from one crappy pic. I'm basically just looking to always have three plants growing in my closet at any given time. Not looking for anything great, but don't want to waste my time.
At what point would I go 12/12? What do I look for as the next stage?
Thanks in advance!9ski9 Reviewed by 9ski9 on . newbie help... Last time I grew, Columbian was $40/oz and we used an old copy of Abbie Hoffman's "Steal This Book" as a guide. Yea she definately has stretched some. I personally would put her in a bigger pot from what I can see, bend her over, move the light down to 18/6, let her grow some more nodes maybe, wait till her secondery growth shoots grow bigger, then put into 12/12. It looks like she's still pretty healthy so you should be able to make things better. Goodluck.

Cool, thanks. I've topped garden plants, but cringe at the idea of topping these. I've read the bending posts and they sure make sense, but assumed the stalks were too brittle. And your avatar makes me hungry.

Lol!!! Yea mostly the bending all became clear to me once I actually did it. Now every time I look at it I get a happy feeling inside that what I did was very good for the plants.

Bending is also an event the entire family can participate in.
Little Johnny can get the twisty tie.
Little Bobby can cut the tie.
And little Susie can twist the tie.
Mom and Dad can sit back and get stoned.Any posts made by me are purely fictional in nature and by no means is anything I say to be taken seriously. Yeah, thanks PPP, that's the new plan.
And, Harddon, you wouldn't believe how my little kid's eyes lit up when that closet door was left open. I had to buy some cherry tomatoes and sprinkle them around the pots and let her "pick" a few. Not sure who the fuck grows cherry tomatoes in their closet, but it seemed like a safer story for her teacher to hear. This is all just a goofy satire...sort of a National Lampoon thing and certainly only photos and ideas collected online.

ROFLMAO...
I would believe that. When my two youngest see me open the door to the grow closet, all the can see if this huge orange bright light behind me.
Daddy, are you GOD?, asked the littlest one.
Dad, it looks like you're in Jamiaca getting a sun tan, says the other one.
Now if I am in the closet and I have the HPS off, they wonder what happened to the sun.
LOL......
