Just thought I'd show you my Afghani (because you're growing it too). There are two plants which are about 4 weeks into flowering, they should be ready in another 3 to 4 weeks, it's a pretty early maturing strain. I sampled some buds the other night.....shit, this is strong stuff! There are more pics of my setup on the pictures board if you want to see. How are your plants doing?

Hi KrayzieThug, the plants were used as mother plants but they were getting a little difficult to control because I'd taken quite a few cuttings from them, they were getting really bushy so I decided to just flower them. I can't remember exactly but I think they were in the vegetative stage for about 3 months.

damn GTC those are just beatuiful....and ty for posting them and thinkin of me and my grow....was quite nice of u to do so....the plants are doing really great....tonight starts there 4th day flowering...i planted 2 afghani...and 2 NL ( not feminized seeds) and with the preflowers that were showing in vegg stage they all look to be female , altho about another week and a half or so will confirm that, hairs are already emerging from the NL plants...i had to take them out of the vegg room a week early b.c hight became a prob and i burnt one of the top of one of the afghani....so i hope this doesnt put a huge dent in my yeild....i cant afford an hps right now but they are under a 400 w mh ...i guess an hid is better than not any at all...i have 2 other plants im keeping secret from my viewers and they are about 3 weeks younger than the afghani and i feel the smell is more potient...much stronger ( not a skunk breed ) so only time will tell...im hoping outta these 6 plants a pound is my goal..( if Both the other 2 plants are female ) do you think a pound will be hard to get using the 400w mh ? thanks again...they look just beauiful....PEACE

Hi PPP, you say you have a 400w metal halide, does it not run HPS bulbs too? Or is it an older light system? The system I have runs both MH and HPS but the MH bulb doesn't get used as much because I have fluorescents.

well i dont know if it runs hps bulbs or not to be honest with you....theres a sticker on the side of it that has a list of bulbs and wattages and hps is on the list....but i put a 400 w hps in it a few years ago and it wouldnt light the bulb....
