Topping responseWhat does it mean exactly that a strain responds good or bad to topping? Which strain respond better to that? I noticed recently that after topping, the plant stretched quite a bit. But is it common?
 Thanks

Topping responseTopping is the process of removing the growing top from the plant, some pinch it off.. i cut it off..

you can see the difference between a topped and a non topped plant roughly the same size and same age.. sex still.. unknown...

Topping encourages the branches to grow larger, creating many medium sized colas as opposed to one large and many smallish/medium sized colas.

LST on the other hand.. is the art of bending the stem to encourage branche growth, and you get to keep the main cola.. which from what i understand, is the best part As we live...a life of ease. Topping responsemine stretched a little, enough growth to spread the new leaves above the others and then slowed down.

Topping responsetopping is a good option for a stretched plant. it stops the main stem growth and makes the branches grow.

i'd suggest it if there's more than 2 inches of space between the nodesAs we live...a life of ease. Everyone of us...has all we need. Sky of Blue...and Sea of Green. In our Yellow Submarine.

Topping responselack of light will cause u alot of strech....i wouldnt just yet to say its cuz ur growing sativa.....hell i got a pure indica under great light....just as its 3 others sisters have but yet only one streched like that....plants are all different man...even if they are the same strain doesnt mean it will grow the EXACT same way even when grown under the same conditions...this will prove my point...no pix of it..will get some to u soon tho...but ill explain...i have 2 NL down in the basement...both of these plants from seed has been growin under the same growing conditions...yet one is kinda streched...bit bushy but not really b.c of the streching...on the other hand its sister that sits exactly right next to her is VERY short...and VERY bushy compared to the other...plants dont all grow the same..all u can do is give good light and good growing medium....
