I don't understand how they just so easily cut off the bottom of the lightbulb. I mean it's made of METAL, I tried to saw away at one with everything and couldn't do more than scratch it

Dremel? Even if you just got a nail and poked a hole, I'm sure you could use some plyers (sp?) and tear the rest of it open.

A dremel is a high speed rotating hand tool, with various attachements. They are relatively inexpensive and super useful.



Thats one with a cutting tool on it. Its just circular sand paper, but when used at high speeds it will cut through metal without too much hassle. Even if you don't use it for this project EVERYONE should have one of these.
