I'm sorry I didn't call. My god-mothers death came as such a surprise to everyone I wasn't really thinking straightly. I forgot all about work, with the visit to the doctors hours before she passed and trying to figure out funeral preparations with her family/friends, I forgot all about work.


If that doesn't work, whats the worst that is going to happen? They fire you? You're quiting anyways. The 2 weeks notice is a courtesy you give them.
mono repin Reviewed by mono repin on . need a good reason i quit my job last week, so i put in my two weeks notice. i put in about a week, and just didnt show up today. right now im trying to win a fight with my mom for not going back, cause she wants me to work tomorrow(8 in the mroning - yeah right). whats a good reason for missing a day and not calling just in case i do go to work.
