    hi have read bout people goin down to 8 hrs of light and 16 dark. does this speed up process or what?

    It may speed it up some, but you also end up with some lanky buds. They need light to grow.

    Yes ,this will speed things up a bit.I have found u dont wont to go any less than 9hr days.I always stay below 12hr days,have found 10hr days r good.

    towards the end of flowering it helps them from 'running-on' which we call it when the buds start to "grow" again by shooting out new growth all over. reduction in light tells the plant that it is entering the last days of it's life cycle.

    i have my plant on 11/13 and its 3 weeks into flowering. i think about week 5 or 6 i will turn it down to 10/14. my buds are looking good and frosty

    soo well reducing lights past 12hr stop height growth and beggin more width growth for fat buds??
