My comments about not liking home made bongs are not in referance to the quality of the hit you take from it. It rather was in referance to the fact I like to smoke with some semblance of style. Just like I'm not going to take a handjob in the back of a movie theatre (unless your into public shit which is a different story), I'm not going to take a hit from a homemade shitty looking bong. Sure it will get the job done. Damn well at that, but when there are better more stylish methods available I'll stick with them. I guess when your in high school you make do with what you can, but I was never desperate enough to get a handjob in a movie theatre (and yes I had the chance) and no I was never desperate enough to take hits from a tinny. No disrespect was meant to anyone though.

I really don't see how you can equate a homemade bong with a handjob in a movie theater. Sure, it's not going to impress all your friends like a $200 glass bong would, but impressing other people isn't really what I smoke for. If I had the kind of money to afford something like that, it would be great, but in the meantime if I can put together something that will work pretty well from household materials I don't see how that's somehow repugnant and unclassy. Sometimes people want cool, filtered bong hits without spending a wad of cash on a fancy piece.

i made a home made bong out of a ostridge egg it has a standard metal pipe bowl and works better than most of the store bought ones i've tried .i love it and it was free i opt to use it over my metal pipe or my mini bong
