somebody someone Reviewed by somebody someone on 05-30-2005. Making a bong.. help. Trying to make a glass bong out of a fuze bottle.. ya know that fruit drink. Anyways, is there an easy or at least feasible method to poke a hole in a glass bottle? I tried hold a lighter to it to soften it then lightly hammering a nail through but nothing is really working. Indeed. Being a cheap motherfucker with ripped up lungs is not a better alternative to spending a few bucks for a nice glass piece with a good carb and the works. It's definetly worth a few hours pay to enjoy a safe smoke.

I would just buy a bong from a smoke shop. Go to a head shop or smoke shop and buy a cheap one. It will be a lot easier on your part and will be more effeciant. I recomend getting a sour.

I would agree that homemade bongs 90% of the time are no good. I like smoking good weed and I like smoking out of interesting stuff. I don't mind joints/blunts if they are rolled well. To me if I'm going to smoke, I'm going to do it up right. Like I said though, everyone once in a while a homemade bong is worth while. Grav bongs are usually worth while, just because they will drop you. Someone who takes cosmetics into account for homemade bongs usually will have a worthwhile bong. The beer bottle bongs I've seen are pretty cool as well. They certainly aren't a 5 min job though.

i truely with all my heart love home made bongs
sometimes they dont work perfectly but they are tones of fun and if you know what your doing they work just as good as bongs you can buy.

no..ive used it time and time again..i also used screen like this on another pipe i made..it works great
and also it takes very little to get high off this..i used aluminum foil for a bowl then the screen and the difference is definately noticable..it hits sooo hard

Thanks for all the input guys, I'm just gonna suck it up and buy one. Glass in the lungs sounds like shit. Oh and a bro of mine has a homemade bong made from a Sue Bee Honey Bear, and its bad as shit. Very nicely put together for a homemade one. We smoked out of it a couple days ago and got blazed. Well, I'm off to smoke a bowl, peace.
