question on pruneing
By the time flowering is initiated, the plant should be properly prepared for flower.
That is, the grow shoots should be identified, defined and specific.
There should be no need to 'prune' during flower.
Don't cut the fan leaves. Yes they block light, but, they also help feed the flowers. Don't cut them. Pull of the dead and dying vegetation on the lower part of plant but leave the buds and bud sites as they were when flowing was initiated.
I don't ever cut a fan leaf. Not even during veg.
As your bud develops, the fan leaves will slowly yellow and start browning at the tips. This is normal and natural and a part of the flowering process.
You need the fan leaves. Cut them when manicuring your harvest.
Of course that may not be how others do it so take your pic...Any posts made by me are purely fictional in nature and by no means is anything I say to be taken seriously.
