    patience......

    time: 0830 hrs
    place : Baja mexico
    waves: 4 to 6 feet
,,,i had brought two newbies to Baja with me, they had no idea what it was like down there...I told them, there will be waves all day long with a slight offshore wind..after a 12 hour 4x4 ride thru the desert we arrived.....why dont you guys relax and smoke one with me...they just they wanted to surf now and was afraid that it might get bad later.....well go fo it....they headed out thru the line up like mad men......they rode wave after wave and i can see they were burning out fast....making mistakes wiping out.....the just surfed shitty. I can see the greedy looks in their eyes when they missed a wave...

They headed in after a 2 hour session,
I made more coffee and finished the J...so u guys surfed out or what?
they couldnt even talk....and were starving......i headed out taking my time.....
The waves got even better and the sun popped out thru the fog .. nice....all i can see on the hill was the newbies sitting on their beach chairs veggin...

When i got in, they looked like a couple of drown rats....cold....tired....

yes , you were right, they said.. we had no patience....we watched you just sit there and look at the waves go by untill you found one you liked and rode it all the way in to the beach.....he said, out here, theres noone around to hog the waves....so went crazy and tried to ride every wave possible.....yea i know i said...i have been in this situation too...just a little patience..is all you need down here.......just take your time and not rush into anything,,,,,,I handed them the joint and they toked....watching the sunset........yes..another fine day to be patient.......
then one of the newbies asked me....is there instructions on how to use this sleeping bag?......i toke and look at him.....patience....you'll figure it out......

that was a nice sunday opener nalu
toked breakfast and luaghed with ya over that "greed for a wave" thing.
i heard of that even though im miles from any beach and never touched a board i like the idea surfing but reality sets in fast when i think of doing it
cuase i know the results of me standing up on a board on big water while some idiotic idea in my head telling me that it only hurts if you screw up.
but enjoying the water and the jionts on the beach while the watching a crew surf and wipe outs(sadly non surfers look only for the wipeouts) would be a blast.
especially toking what your tokin, how do ya stand on a moving board after a few those?id be uselessly depleted after few hours of beach and couple jionts
    of that,
you would find me laying on the board on the beach checking out bikini's

yea id be that hillbilly tourist type you'd luagh 'the biggest noob on da beach'

    have a great one
    peace
