No but an elephant can eat the top of a tree or bush along with many other animals. I know it is survival of the plant but that is how they were created and many gardners/landscapers prune to get thicker, fuller plants and it seems to make the plants explode with new healthy growth.

I am going to try it your way next time and also make a tree if I can. Thanks for helping everyone Harddon, it is great to read many of your posts and I am glad you can lol about this, that is what I meant.

Look forward to seeing your plants flower

Harddon, topping is natural Harddon, I find it funny how you are against topping, I LOL everytime I see someone brings it up.:) It's a freaking plant, plants feel pain? I do not know but they were made to recover. I have seen trees cut down and new growth take off from the stump. People have made 1 tree produce all different kinds of fruit. We cut bushes and grass back so it fills out in our landscaping knowing it will come back stronger and looking good. It may not be natural in away but plants are meant to be cut Rating: 5
