I was a Man U fan because they were the first team to get a market where I'm from and I followed them for a little while, just never understood what all led up to them hating arenal and vis versa..

The hatred comes from many places, such as the rivalry between opposing geographical positions within the country itself. Arsenal (London, South) Vs. Man United (Manchester, North) I'm glad to say it's not so much as a /deadlly/ rivalry as much as a friendly one.

the best is all the chants the fans yell at one another during the game.my favorite was "i would rather be a Paki than a Turk!"

i used to think that way until i lived in europe and i really got into real football(soccer).
