Hi all,

I just found out where the two words above come from and it amused me so I thought I would post them.

Golf stands for - Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden, this would go on the door of the clubhouse and is where G.O.L.F came from.
Fuck stands for - Fornication Under Consent of King, many many years ago peasants had to get license from there King to have children, when the King said yes, peasants would hang the license on the door which said F.U.C.K
Wife stands for - Washing Ironing Fucking Etc -

Anybody know any more ?
