Now Torog,
I should have known you were a freeper...no, I am not a D-uer though I go there.. I am an AAR blogger..
BTW...Catch AAR on C-span at 8 eastern tonight

As for being registered to vote...A BIG YES and I registered 219 other people as well...how about you?

Religion...I am agnostic...why do you ask?

Now as for this statement: any history book, written after 1964,has been re-written by liberals,to reflect their politically-correct views, gittin steadily worse,as the influence of modern-day liberalism grew.

THe history books were not changed exclusively by liberals, they were changes by society as a whole.....they have changed as the issue of slavery, and the attemt to understand it changed. Slavery was an economic issue during the civil war as you know the civil war in no way ended rasicm.. that issue came more to light with the civil rights movement and the history books then started to reflect slavery as the MORAL issue and not an economic one.
Also slavery was not the only issue of the civil war...not many people owned slaves so I don't know where you are getting your NY statement. I would like some proof of that statement. Most of the country were small farmers...and did not care about slavery one way or another...they figured it would slowly fade as it had other places...it was the extremely wealthy individuals that had all the slaves....mostly the southern plantations...actually a big issue.. one you seem to be forgetting was whether or not the south had the right to succeed from the union...

I did pull my kids out of public schools because they were not liberal enough for me and I found most middle schools and high schools taught by way of intimidation which I think tears a person down and I do not agree with...

I have been on the freeper site quite a few times....most of you are quite frightening...I am glad you are a minority...so who are you there?
You should visit AAR ...Majority reporters could teach you a few things.
Study up...TTYL...

Cat
Howdy Blue Cat,

What does AAR stand for ? I'm not familiar with that organization,do you have a link ?

I'm glad that you cared enough to vote and register others, even if it was for the Democratic Party. If I didn't live so far out in the country and wasn't disabled and poor,I'd have done some recruiting myself.

I'm sad to hear that your agnostic, but I kinda figured it was some thing like that,in regards to your religious belief's or lack thereof.

I reckon, that I can't accuse the liberals of being guilty for all of the pc'ism in history books, etc, but they are responsible for most of it. As for my NY statement, that particular fact, was found by Civil War historians on the factual side(ie,conservatives)..and I'm pretty sure that I read about it at FR.

As for seceding from the Union,yes.."We the People, reserve the right to alter or abolish the govermenet as we see fit." In fact,if Hillary manages to win in '08,there could be a new Civil War,with lots of States seceding from the Union..one of the first orders of business..close the border with Mexico and threaten to declare war for continued and rampant invasion of our border, with Mexico. However,I do believe that America should remain united, and that secession, would be the last option.

Slavery reparations,is a liberal's issue, and should not be emphasized over historical fact..that issue, belongs in another class.

I find it appalling, that you withdrew your kids from school, because it was not liberal enough.. As it stands today, liberalism is counter to traditional American values..y'all have your freedom..and don't see why anyone else deserves freedom, especially if it requires the ultimate sacrifice. I would hope that your son, believes that other folks deserve to be free too..not just himself.

Have a good one....
