i wouldnt think it would hurt them but i do suggest a better light set up asap.....and nooooo dont rigg something up for that bulb....its obviously a metal halide....ur last tennates were proboly growing a little and disposed of some of the evidence quite poorly....but it could be dangerious to bulid something for that bulb unless u DO know exactly what ur doing....PEACE

Hi all just curious.. want to know what kind of bulb is this it says 250 watts I found it in one of my rental houses and if it is a good grow bulb where can i find a big enough socket that will burn it it won't fit into a grow shade i have.
