time only exists to us because we have memories...without memories you'd have no knowledge of this moment *right now* existing, and without knowing you existed a day ago, or a month ago, or 5 years ago you'd have no idea

just think how a beta fish must feel...beta fishes can live in small containers because they'll swim from one side to the other and forget that they were just at the other side - hehe.

you might say that time exists because we all live and die, and though you can prolong it dying is always going to be the end of your physical body.

No, we didn't invent time, "time" is just the word we assigned to the passage of time (am I making sense)? Time existed before man, just noone had a word for it... we are so intellegent that we can understand how the universe works. Yep, humans rule ass alright.
