Well down in San Francisco, cops aren't too much of a problem if you're roasting a J in golden gate park...in my experiences. Now in the town I recently moved to, they're fucking idiots. I cannot go into a description of these fucks because I don't know the words.

A cop just pissed me off. I was traveling on a road that used to be 45 the last time I traveled it. I hadn't been on that road in 5 years. I don't know when they changed the speed limit, but I wasn't paying attention to that. I was doing 49 and I saw the cop, I checked for a posted speed as I knew the 35 zone was coming up. Little did I notice they moved the city limit sign out about two miles and changed the speed limit to 35 on the entire road. Now the cop should have giving me a warning as I haven't had a ticket in years, but NOOOOOO I got an 80 fine that I had to pay in 10 days. PISSED ME OFF! Asshole, that's all I got to say...............

oh and on the subject, i live in calgary, we've got our fair share of assholes, and we have some that don't care all that much, i have a buddy whos been busted twice, first time the guy was smoking a j with some buds near the school, and a cop walked by and saw them, apparently he just said "im busy right now, so im gonna pretend i didn't see that." however the second time he got busted he got frisked and they found a q on him and they busted him and called his parents. never been busted myself though

actually i think its a good thing that u got a dad thats a cop...two of my old friends had dads as cops..one of em is sooooo chill and the other one...the kid got arrested a couple times but he usaully was fine..haha one time this kid made napalm and lit a playground on fire near his house right and his dad was the cop that came to the scene...haha it was cool tho he only had to pay for damages,...his dad HELPED alot, o ya he didnt care if he smoked either....he actually took him to get his pericings it was tight...only cops that i kno that r ok tho

In Sooke (the small town I live in) there are 3 cops in total, so they really aren't an imposing force in the neighbourhood. In Langford, the neighbouring city where I usually hang out, the cops are more of an imposing force but they're just as stupid.

They caught us once with a crumb of weed and a shitload of booze, and lectured us on why we shouldn't smoke weed for 45 (while we were in the freezing cold), and then drove away without a word about the booze. One of them even asked me why I didn't smoke cigarettes, because they were healthier. I told him "because cigarettes don't get me high".

Another time, a couple of friends and I were meeting a person at a bus stop at about 11:00 at night, and some drunk frat boys asked us for cigarettes. We told them we didn't have any (which was true), and they started to follow us, saying they were going to rape my friend's girlfriend, and kill all of us. Keep in mind we were all smaller than them, and they outnumbered us. My friend phoned 911 on his cell phone. The cops came, asked us our names (treating us like we were criminals the whole time), and then left us there, with the drunk guys across the road. Lucky for them, we managed to get away.
