howard dean confused saddam hussein and osama bin laden not once but twice this weekend on Meet The Press with Tim Russert.

But maybe there is a clear explanation of these apparent slip-ups .Maybe dean didnt confuse the names and in fact truly believes osama bin laden ,despite bin ladens OWN ADMISSION to the contrary,was not involved in the terroristattacks on the U.S.

Afterall,it was Howard Dean that said of bin laden,while acknowledging that bin laden had admitted to "killing 3000 Americans as well as scores of men, women and children around the world."

dean-"i will have this old fashioned notion that even with people like osama ,who is very likely to be found guilty,we should do our best not to,in positions of executive power,not to pre-judge jury trials."

So is howard dean a bumbling moron or a terrorist sympathizing idiot??

Howard Dean on Saddam:"clinton lied or or govenor bush swayed congress" in fine howard dean fashion he also made this statement: "Mr.Russert:But John Kerry, Hillary Clinton,John Edwards,and Joe Lieberman all said Saddam Hussein was a threat to the United States.That was the belief."

"Dr. Dean:Because they were told that by the president."

Interesting??considering the prominent democrats ALL RECITED A LITANY OF REASONS THAT SADDAM WAS A THREAT TO THE REGION,THE U.S. AND THE WORLD.....BACK IN 1998!!!!!!!!!!Either dean is making a freudian slip and accusing bill clinton of exaggerating the threat posed by saddam,or hes giving then govenor Bush a heck of alot of credit in persuading members of the federal government ,LONG before he was even a presidential candidate.

If dean is this big of an idiot in an off-year,i cant wait for election season to roll back around.Hell,dean and his mouth could get Tom Delay elected President!KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MR. CHAIRMAN!!

How about the impeccable timing of that debunked Newsweek story coming out right after the BBC made its intelligence memo report? It's almost as if someone didn't want the news to be trusted for a few days.

Someone leaking negative news, even if it reflects poorly on themselves, has happened before.

that's a method the mainstream's gatekeepers use quite often...

like karl rove leaking the stuff to CBS about bush's military records...they get out ahead of the story, focus on one small petty aspect of the story, discredit that, then they use that to discredit all the real information and call it old "news."
