hey - I don't want to be the killjoy here, but I think some of you guys should know that your lists need a little revising, as you probably have wrong info about a couple of the things you WANT to do.

First of all, a couple of you guys would NEVER do PCP (good call), but said you were definitely interested in ketamine. News flash! BOTH those drugs are "disassociatives", and have basically the same effects - not pleasant, & very dangerous. Trust me. Some fucker dropped Special K into my drink at a club a few months ago, and within 20 minutes, I knew I was in a WORLD of trouble. I couldn't speak, felt like I was outside my own body (next to it, if you will), and had after-effects for weeks. I mean, it's general anesthesia, for fuck's sake! I also got belligerent/borderline violent, and really strong. It took 4 of my friends to deal with me, and I'm a petite woman. I told my doc the next day, & he said I was lucky I hadn't gone into respiratory arrest. Terrific. So I'm not sure what kind of distinction you're making between PCP & ketamine, but if you're leary of one, you should be of the other.

The other thing - Oxycontin. I had throat surgery a couple of months ago, and had to crush my painkillers into pudding to get them down...swallowing anything solid WASN'T an option. My surgeon offered me Oxycontin, but I reminded him that Oxy is time-released, so if you crush it and either snort or swallow it, it could be fatal. If you don't believe me, look it up - www.rxlist.com is a great site for patient info on legal pharmaceuticals. Anyway, the doc couldn't believe he'd forgotten that little piece of info, so he gave me Percocet instead. That was fun, in spite of the pain.
