If you posted a pic, you could get a lot more precise advice on your fern.

The height of the plant is for all intents and purposes, meaningless.

If you want more bud, you have to grow more buds.

THat is you have to expose the secondary grow shoots to as much light as anything else on the plant.

The more growth you have from within theplant, the higher the yield.

ONe ounce per grow huh>

I would imagine they are some pretty tall but skinny plants...

As for flowering then vegging again....its like What is the best light cycle controversy...

It has been mentioned here that I am an idiot or something to that fact as I reccomend doing that. The claim is that can force them to go hermie.

My guru says bullshit to that. She says once the sex is determined, thats it. Many plants are hermies from the beginning but don;t show the full sexual characteristics till later on...and something else takes the blame.

By the end of the 4th week, a plants sex is set.
