    Day 21

Just watch em real close because at such a young tender state, they might not tolerate tip burn as well as a more established plant would.

Anyhow, here are the lights and pics....

    1. 55W FULL SPECTRUM CFL 5500Kelvin .... $28.00 each...screws into any regular socket. Bulb is good for two years. Most efficient CFL for the money out there for seedlings, young sprouts up to 3-4 weeks.

    2. 125W FULL SPECTRUM CFL 6400 KELVIN... $79.95 each...requires mogul base socket. I estimate 14 -16 months of use. Ideal for obtaining skyrocket results indoors after week 3. TWO of these units on any plant will bring out the full potential.

Can be cumbersome because of the length of the bulb AND socket when put together. Like 21" long or so. Long base socket wastes a lot of room and can cast shadows on other plants if positioned improperly.

Easy to hang from ceiling with twisty wires. Flicker free, instant start...burns hot enough to damage human skin like fire. (trust me on this one.... ) Requires fan to cool to get close to plants.

    3. Mogul base socket and assmby....$13.95 each...guarantee 5 years.

Its these or metal halides for veg stage folks. If you wanna veg with HPS or ordinary floro's or cheap CFL's you can.

But you will not maximize the plant's genetic potential.

Sorry Da1 but I got three of these things lying around the garage.

I didnt have to assemble anything.

Now that I am in flower, I only have two on per light cycle.

No room for the others so I'll just save them for my sea of green grow.

I gotta build me a new veg closet.
