Does anyone still play this game? I used to be totally awesome and obsessed with this game, I had a collection worth god knows how much (of course sold for like 1/10th of the real value) I once won a tourney for a Black Lotus, which I sold for $350! YEAH w00t! Well, I wish I still had them, now that I have real money to spend on it... but noone plays anyway so fuck it.

Do not fuck with my re-animate deck, unless you want to die in 3-5 turns.

You crazy fuck! haha i have cards sitting on my floor, yeah i use to be mad obbssedd until everyone stopped playing. Never fucking won a black lotus tho, shit never even came in contact with one. Lol i was more into the type 2 shit. did you play for like rankings and shit? i was like in top 20s for my city, or some shit. But yeah lol i wish i still had all my cards but i gave em away

I won it at some local comic book shop, narrowly winning against some 30-some year old guy with buku bucks with my re-animate deck... its killer, you just don't play your first land, discard a card liek sliver queen on 1st turn.... use re-animate on 2nd turn, now i have a 7/7 beast while they are still building mana, and proceed to rape that ass. I also had an infinite-creature combo deck, where i could get literraly trillions of token creatures, and do a massive attack for 1,000,000 damage. It was sick.

That comic shop was the majic player's paradise.. there was soem mystery box where you could pay a dollar for a chance to win a mox (about $100)

Man, I used to be the best at MTG..pretty much. Among my friends at least, I was obsessed but only really played with my friends and stuff. Sometimes we would bet like 5 bucks each on a tournament type with each other, but I haven't played in years. I miss the game, I think I had an elf, goblin, Red/blue deck, Nightmare Black/red deck, and then a super white soldier deck. All of them dominated, and I did my best to spend as little money as possible on the cards while being the best.

Oh well, I keep thinking about selling my cards, but I am going to let them sit for a couple more years and see if the values increase.

I played from Alpha to revised edition then quit. I gave away all my cards. I had a couple black lotus, moxs, god know what else, real valuable stuff I could've made money off

Damn, thats a shame. My friend was pretty young when they came out and he gave away all his cards too, or sold them really cheap.

If you were to get a bunch of those black lotuses when they first came out you could have a lot of money for just those little cards. He had 3 or 4.

I still have all about, 150 of my cards. The beginners deck and the advanced. I could never find anyone that's was as interested in the game as me, except sometimes my cousin. Man, it got so bad that I tried to teach my little bro how to play it, and he was seven at the time. He caught on a bit, but lost interest. Man, if their was an online version, you all would be at my mercy. Planet of the Apes: "Bow your heads"

Theres a few ways to play online. One way is a program caled Apprintece(sp) and you use irc chat for that. or the one made by wizards which is magic online but you have to actually buy virtual cards to play. Apprintece is compeltely free and you can use any cards you want.
