MDMA and opiates, probably DXM as well cause an increase in the antidiuretic hormone. This hormone regulates the amount of water released from the kidneys and also causes a dramatic decline in the salt content of your blood.
Of course it will effect some people more than others so if you find it extremely difficult it is best not to drink large amounts of water and eventually see a doctor.

I have to wait until I have to go really bad and then try and I can usually get it, and once it starts its not a problem. But wtf it pisses me off.
