HARDDON - I was mostly trying to clear up some of what I felt was miss information; you did not specifically quote those details. Again I was just trying to correct what I felt was miss information. You are one of the most vocal around here about bending VS topping and I did not think you would be offended by opposing views.
Most people canâ??t plant another plant due to limitations of legal grows in some areas. Some legal grows are only allowed 4 plants and thatâ??s not enough for a lot of people so they need the most yield out of what they can grow. Growing trees cost big bucks to setup and not many people will spend 10k just to set up a grow room.
I just felt the topic was getting off track and some miss information was affecting the new growers they are getting the wrong idea and confusing the topic of when and why. Itâ??s just a method of growing one of many. Growing indoors with artificial light is not natural but itâ??s what some of us must do. The nutrients we use are not always found in nature in those exact portions and amounts either. A lot of what we do is not natural to the region we each grow in but we do it anyway because of the success we know we can achieve with our results.
Happy growing everyone, experiment often and advance your education as your growing techniques expand and mature. Failure is still the best teacher so donâ??t be afraid to fail.

Thanks for clearing up that issue for me Zandor.
I only speak about what I know, have learned or exerienced.
On the same coin, different side, I think too many people top and ignore the fact that there are indeed different ways to increase yield.
Way back when...topping was the rule...we all did it not knowing there were any different ways.
But yea I have a big vocal mouth...sometimes I say the stuff just to piss off those who think its the ONLY way.
I think there are enough posts on the subject to where a newbie who did some reading would learn there are diff. opinions on the subject, just as there is with nutes, lights and hours.
Thank you for being a gentleman and explaining your post.
I respect what you have to say.
Otherwise I would have called you a male anatomy part and put you in the class with some of the "know it alls" here cuz they read.
You are way too classy for that, and, your addressing the issue confirms...You are da' man Zandor.
Thanks again and HAPPY TOPPING

here's a pic of the topped plant as of 5 minutes ago.. the stem has gotten at least twice as thick since the topping, and the leaves grew at least an inch..
