i've only topped one crop before and I waited till the leaf set with 7 blades... i just FIMed a batch too and did it at the same time... I'm bending some plants too and it appears that the topped and FIMed ones need a little longer. I'd wait atleast one more nodal set... but other than that try them out and see. you'll learn more by doing it that anyone of us can tell you... look into FIMing though, it looks like mine are doing better this way than the ones I topped

A MONTH OLD and its only on its 4th set of leaves?
I say there are other problems you need to deal with besides topping.
Looks healthy but why the short growth for a month old plant??????
If you are gonna top, i'd top it right now.

You sould wait until there are 5 or 6 sets of true leafs before you crop the top. The proper way is to crop between the 4th & 5th node then clone what you crop so you have another plant to grow.

yeah, it is pretty small for a month old, but it's growing outdoors, on a regular sun cycle.. it's actually been a little less than a month since the seed sprouted.

This is mine at 21 days old so I dunno what's going on with yours. Cuz it seems really healthy but if it really is that old then something's wrong I think.
