I watered loads on day 7 till water came out of bottom of pots. They looked perfect with the leaves in a perfect v at the top the a couple of the stems are a bit long but i think theyll be ok there 5 or 6 cm long but stems are strong. Now on day 9 i have stuck my fingers deep in the soil and it seems to be damp but when iv checked my bag of unused soil that feels the same so maybe it isint damp and just the texture of the soil. I was wondering if there was a way i could tell by the leaves if they need water they went from perfect v to a -- there horizontal but all else seems fine any help will be much appreciated thank you.
Howdy magic bud,

You are right,to water until the water comes out the bottom, and to tell when they need more, you should try lifting the pot in one hand,if it's light and easy to lift, and if the leaves are droopy with the lights on,they are ready to water.

You could also invest in a moisture meter, they don't cost much, just insert it until it's a couple of inches from the bottom of the pot,you want the medium to dry out enough for the roots to git oxygen. As for humidity,it's true that a higher humidity is preferred during the veg cycle, and less for the flower cycle, however,I think you will be okay with the humidity you have now.

Have a good one !
