I too am All for it..
If a cure for Cancers can be found they have to explore New areas.
I really cant see a Moral issue here...
Im all for umbillical studies...
its the richest Moste Pure Blood there is so Its a good starting point.
and the stem cells can Basicly be grown into any cell it chooses..

You should support stem-cell research, even if you don't support abortion (like me)... what woudl you have them do? Just throw the carcasses away unused? This is an example of the willingness of politicians (not just Bush, but all politicians) to sacrafice morality for political gain. In this case he is pandering to the mindlessly pro-life crowd.

i personally would prefere if they didnt do it....
it may be a cure for many diseases but......i dont actually know.

i would just prefere it if they left the world as it was instead of trying to make even more humans live for longer increasing the population.

maybe im just worried about overpopulation....who knows??

stem cells come fron UNDEVELOPED embryoes or babied umbilical cords...not their brains. Most of the stem cells used for research are from embryos that are surplus from IVF treatments that would have otherwise been destroyed. I agree with stem cell research. Too many people have thw rong idea, when they think about stem cell research they imagine doctors chopping up little babies and pulling there brains out...its not like that. The embryos they use are just bundles of cells. Theyre not people yet...

i think some religous people are to niev(sp?) as religion plays a big part in these sorts of things. If your religous fair enough but would who ever you pray to want you to live in a world where you can be cured of things like cancer.
