Things like thousands gettign pointlessly killed, or dying of starvation because rich countries dont think it's worht the time and money to save thousands of lives. Yep, hippies suck ass, driving thier crappy, non-emissions-meeting car and then bitching abotu how they will cut down a forest.

exactly. what could we "tree-huggers" possibly do either? of course we're concerned that people are dying. we care just as much as the next guy, probably more. but we as individuals can't do a damn thing to stop it. we can, however, make a difference on the environment, even if it's only a small one... grow plants, eat organic food, abstain from chemcial products, what have you. we care about poverty and death, but it's a little wiser to focus on the thing we can do something about.
