what music groups do u listen to?
I don't even think I could make a list. 60's poppy folky stuff, The Beatles, The Hollies, The Byrds. And then of course the late 60's psychedelic music, Hendrix, Clapton, Jefferson Airplane. Some of the big 70's rock bands, like Journey, Boston, REO Speedwagon, are also some great ear candy at the right time. Then if you go to the 80's you got a lot of shitty cock rock bands, but there's still guys like Stevie Ray Vaughn, ZZ Top, Van Halen, and Guns 'n Roses keeping it alive. The Stray Cats were also great. Who can forget AC/DC? In the 90's there's very few musicians I'll listen to, but Nirvana and Green Day will sometimes be on if I'm feeling like it. And I listen to some modern pop music if it just catches my ears, but nothing serious.
You move back before all of that, and you got the primordial rock and roll of Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, and such. And then you still got some pure blues cats at that time like BB King (and all the other kings, such a common last name), Buddy Guy, and Muddy Waters. If you keep following that back there more different forms of blues to check out that can be imagined at one time. And growing completely parallel to that is the whole jazz this which goes all the way up to the modern jazz we have now, and all of the great groups we all know and love branched out of this in the states, and over in England.
And even further than that, you have the romantic period, classical period, all different forms of elaboratly beautiful music, from back when all of the rules hadn't been explored yet, and musicians we're still finding inspiration in the more basic levels of music.
It all likes together, and I love the greater majority of it.The End is Near :stoned:
