yea stove method is best because it's the only one that i've ever seen that is reliable and simmer just simply is when something is boiling very lowly (not big bubbles but alooooooooooooooot of little ones and maybe some steam) but you asked about microwaves so i did my best to provide you wtih a method that would work, but i too would suggest just doing it on the stove....and simmering on a stove is a lot easier then in a microwave....with stove you wait til it boils then turn it on low and just make sure it dont' burn...wtih microwave you have to get it to boil stop it reduce the power drasticly (50% or less) and make sure it don't burn just by the smell it's putting of because you can't really stop it every three seconds and check it or it would never get done. good luck, and make sure you got a friend or something watching out a window or something so if you parents do pull up you can hide everything under your bed until you can do something else with it.
