I don't know it looks like the only thing I would worry about is the diphenylhydramine, which is a sleep aid, causing drowsiness, but it is very possible to overdose on diphenylhydramine, so thats a negative. The other active ingredient looks like levomenthol, which most probably is the (L)-isomer of menthol. Menthol is a terpiene so I wouldent worry about it.

What would be good to read if you can find it is the paper:

Takeru Higuchi, Arthur Michaelis, T. Tan, and Arthur Hurwitz. "Ion Pair of Pharmaceutical Amines, role of dipolar solvating agents in extraction of dextromethorphan" Analytical chemistry.

It has info on the partition coefficient of DXM in a chloroform-water, liquid-liquid extraction,, but not in hexane.

yeah, ok, diphenhydramine hcl is BENADRYL...people say you can take a box of 24 of those and trip, but it's not worth it, they will MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE SHIT...and you CAN OVERDOSE on that stuff easier than dxm...

also, the levomenthol thing is a chemical alteration, or an ANALOGUE of actual MENTHOL...kind of like dxm is an analogue from morphine...it's altered to have the same throat-numbing effects, while also being able to be swallowed....menthol is poisonous in larger amounts, so they made levomenthol so it wouldn't be as poisonous, but my guess is it's probably dangerous as well...don't fuck with that stuff....go to ECKERD if you can still find one and look for robotussing cough gels...or the eckerd brand will say MAXIMUM STRENGTH cough supressant...only DXM for an active ingredient, whatever you get...don't have any other active ingredients, they add those to the dxm to keep kids from getting high off of it...you can overdose easily on some of that stuff
