Ok, let's mount up! We're off to North Korea, China, Sudan, Congo, Eastern Eurpe and Latin America and everywhere else there are terrorists. Oh, wait, nevermind, we're not. They don't have oil.

Right on, brother. Nothing has pushed this economy back and stalled it like those tasty tax cuts. Hey, maybe if we didn't have such a massive defict, the Fed would stop raising interest rates. Don't get me started about fuel prices and the cost of transportation, shipping, etc.

The UN said to us in regards to Afghanistan, "Go right ahead, folks. Have fun in the sand." In regards to Iraq, the UN said, "Umm, those aren't the terrorists you're looking for. You should probably stay in Afghanistan and finish that one."

so we said shove it up your ass you rich fucks and took care of buisness.

both are paying off big time politically and are going to keep republicans in office for a while to come.

dude, my dad owns a small business, probably bringing in $250,000 a year, he doesnt get tax breaks. Plus, my family has thousands of shares in the stock market, my grandpa just lost $100,000 because the stock market is shit rite now. The economy is failing, health care is insane, yet republicans cant seem to find a solution.

Alot of people are too busy working a couple of really shitty jobs to make ends meet to play around in the market. Maybe they could've a few years ago before they were layed off or had their job outsourced thanks to W's increase in corporate welfare and weakening of corporate regulation. But not so much now.

By the way, the fact that people are working those crap jobs is why unemployment numbers look as good as they do. Data can be deceiving.

i know we have a long way to go,but we cant seem to lose an election and with the list of possible opponents maxing out at hillary clinton,we will be here for a little while.

You dont know what your talking about. My grandpa has been in the stock market for 50+ years, and I know stock brokers, and investors that also lost shit loads of money. If you had thousands of shares, you wouldve lost a lot of money as well. You and you friends probably made a cuple thousand dollars, my grandpa has made millions of dollars, so i think he knows more about stocks than you, smart guy!

Do you have to try hard to be this ignorant? Or does it come naturally?

Of course unemployment is down! PRODUCTIVITY is up! When productivity (ie, the amount of work people do) numbers go up, unemployment figures fall. The numbers, however, do not address the fact that people are working more hours at more jobs for less money with fewer benefits.

And you bet your ass I blame the recession on W. When you relax corporate and SEC rules, allowing billionaires to steal corporate money thus affecting market value (Enron, WorldCom, Adelphia, Tyco, etc) and causing job loss (ie, decreased tax revenue) while at the same time giving away 1.7 TRILIION DOLLARS in tax breaks, in which 52% of the benefits go to the richest 1% of Americans, that causes deficits which cause recessions. Not to mention the fact that W's figures for Iraq and Afghanistan never make it into the budget. Ever. Congress has to add those expenditures on top of everything else.

    IT'S W'S FAULT.
