Hey dudes, I bought a nice deck setup from friends that only cost me 10 bucks! For good brand, quality parts-nothing from walmart or anything. Anywho, I started sk8ing, ow.. 4 wounds as we speak, only 3 of them we're my fault though. Anyway, I'm trying to master this ridiculous olly.

good luck. it takes reppetitive action do it over and over. It took me one summer to do kick flips. Eventually after a solid year of skating you'll be olling picnic tables if you're good. I did a 15 stair hand rail once and just about lost my sperm donation rights too

I skated for about 5 or 6 years. I started skating handrails and shit, started taking some hardcore wipe outs. It sux when you eat it so hard you're out of commission for a good 2 weeks. But it definately is fun. lol

Damn, what a. I was considering taking up skate boarding. I still have two books from my school's library, that I borrowed a few months back. I just haven't saved up enough money yet. I plan on buying a seven layered plywood canadian maple deck, then building a board all myself. When I do start, I first go freestyle and streetstyle, then if I'm good enough, I'll try a little of verticle at my downtown skate park. Damn, I wish I had all the money I need. Any of you guys wear helmets and all the padding, including gloves, when you skate?

I only usually only wear a helment when i go to the skatepark because if they catch u with out one its like a 80 dollar fine or something.
