and as for your talk of society adapting...the US was built on it's use of firearms to decimate indigenous peoples and the law of the gun in frontier times..so yours is the society that hasn't adapted, it has clung on to a time past....

you talk as if people werent killing each other before the gun. people have been obsessesed with weapons since the stone age. becoming civilised doesnt mean not protecting yourself. as technology improves we must adapt. the gun is here to stay and u need to come to terms with that. i think america would be much safer if more people were properly trained to use firearms instead of being scared of them. they are an essential tool that is here to stay.

the vast majority of shootings and shooting deaths are black on black crime usually gang and drug related. compare the black population of the US to the UK and u have your answer. im not racist im just stating the truth
