New Job

I'm starting a new job real soon.. which means I won't have as much time to post-whore it up.. lol.. I know you'll miss me

Anyway, the money is quite shite, to be totally honest.. The job is working in a garage/car dealership.. It's a multi-million pound company, and they pay shit wages.. go figure

I only plan to stay there for a coupla months, depending on if i get in to college in september.. so i dunno.. if i dont get in to college this year (i applied pretty late and most courses are full already) then i'll have to wait til next year, which means either stickin at this shite job and getting shite money, or sacking it in and tryin for somethin else.. the only problem is, it's hard for me to get a job that i want until i've been to college, you know? maybe i just have high expectations because i know (hope) i've got potential..

ah, and ive been havin loads of trouble sleeping recently.. like i've been going to sleep at 5/6am, and waking up at 8/9am at the latest.. some days i havent even managed that much, i've just gone to bed and stayed awake for a couple hours then got up and had some coffee.. .. maybe its a combination of not smoking much weed lately, and being a bit worried about what happens.. you know, when youre at a kind of 'crossroads' in your life, it gets kinda worrying.. i just hope i chill the fuck out and start sleeping again, before i start this job.. theres no way i'd be able to live with myself if i lost this job because i hadnt been sleeping..

well, i'll wait til this package from Budmail arrives, and i'll try smoking a joint of some Legends Ultimate Indica every night before i try and sleep.. if that doesnt work then im screwed lol

Congrats on that shit job Gostaker.

I too have problems sleeping sometimes. I often go through periods where I just can't seem to sleep, with or without weed. Hell if I have weed it' one more reason to stay up and smoke some more. LOL! It's the truth though. Honestly, it's anxiety, or at least I think it is. Usually I can't sleep when I need too the most b/c something is going on the next day. Sometimes I'm just stress about bills, or the kids, or my husband, it's always something. Most nights I don't go to bed until 2am or later, and get up by 9, or sooner, depending on when my little comes to get me up for breakfast. I seem to function well on 5hrs a sleep at night.

I'm sure you'll great at your new job. Hopefully they will see your hard work and give you a raise you deserve. Just do your best, and even if it doesn't pay off at this job in terms of money, a great reference is worth it's weight in gold. Keep trying to get into school and one day, all will fall into place.
