I am doing what you question. I am in Chicago. For a month or two I have taken my plant outside at 7 am and out at 7 pm. Correct, make sure hte dark cycle is dark and uninterrupted, as my buds at the beggining did not grow as I wished they did due to (if I am correct) a dark cycle with too much surrouding light. My buds look nice. Also I find that the buds grow especially nicely and crystally after I give my plant a rejuvenating longer houred sleep (ie. when it is a weekend and I don't wake at that time for school.

oh and cannabis101- your high powered lights got nothing against my Sunlight.
