i have a white widow and i read on here that you can put the male and the remale toughter and the female will produce seeds... when this happens ... will it make the bud shitter or will it be just as good ?

many things factor into whether or not it'll be "just as good." however, if it really is white widow with seeds, then it should be excellent but with seeds. in the old days (70's), we rarely saw anything without seeds. we simply used a double album cover to sift the seeds from the smoke. what do you want to accomplish? more seeds for more grow?

Seeds don't make the smoke any better or worse but a lot of people don't like to sit there and sift through to seperate the seeds from the bud. If you're planning on replanting those seeds then yea go ahead otherwise kill that male.

I lean towards "Booch"..
If it is a white widow, both male and female, i would say that you should let them chill together, get some seeds for another grow or 2..

the male plant is just a little less potent than the female, (less then 10%), and the female plant looses max. 15% thc/cbd, when its setting seeds.. so the question is : Do you want it to be sensimilla, then seperate the plants..!!

I think you can just leave the male with the female until it has say 2 flowers then kill it. that way you get some seeds and still a good amount of bud.

i think that i'll just put 1 male beside 1 female ... and just leave the rest the way they are ... so only 1 plant has seeds ... becua ei can'nt growing during the winter....only the summer

just like us, one male can have its way with many females. unless the other females are in an entirely different location, that male will make his way around.

You could separate the males keeping only the best, collect the pollen (I take hold of a branch and give it a good shake above a piece of colored paper) and use a tiny paint brush to pollenate the flowers on a single branch of your best female. One branch can produce plenty of seeds while not messing up the rest of the buds on the same plant.
Don't select the main bud, but one about halfway down that receives plenty of light.
If you put one male and one female together you will have hundreds of seeds, and very little smoke.
Either way, it's interesting getting your own seeds to grow.
