WOW 2 years since I posted about this. Sorry for the time delay. Lots of shit happen since then. My wife got knocked up by some 17 year old bag boy d!ck and we split. then I have moved and well, lets just say things got as low as they could go.

Anyway. I am back.

Update time.

Well, sadly I couldn't get anything to germinate so I never got to even try my box. The box itself got destroyed when my ex bitch trashed some of my stuff. I may attempt this again later with a better box. but with even less money now then I had then, who knows.

It seems crazy to me that anyone would use cardboard that close to heat/electricity/moisture. Its just a disaster waiting to happen. Hope you live alone because your risking everybodys lives that live with you. Making something like that is just irresponcible and I can't believe that someone could be so stupid.

I'm growing my plant in a cardboard box too no problems here

3 weeks in 12/12

Please help, I have a grow box made of cardboard also and mine lay on it's side and is 15x15x48 long and I lined it with mylar and 1flo. lights at the top of box. There growing but slow don't get me wrong they been growing for 2 weeks been in box for 1 week.the plant have 2 sets of leaves [not very large], but very healthly and thin stems.I know I need more light but only can spend 50 more dollars only.My question is how many more lights flo. lights do I need to speed the growth ?I have seen a 3 week picture of a plant and mine seems to be growing slow. Also can I just grow in my basement instead of the box? my basement is very cold but lots of room. Do you think it could be to cold?

I would never think that it could be remotely safe, but if you happen to make it work for you more power to you. I am trying with a bud box that is 4'w30''D4'H and using a 400w HPS Sun system2 AC unit and some CFL Side lighting and two inline duct fans one for light and one for box. If a person could save money why not I guess.:jointsmile:
