anyway, i agree that much religion nowadays is dogmatic and close-minded, but that doesn't make the idea of a creator, or a binding force, or SOMETHING, totally irrational. expand your thinking. dont believe that what you see with your eyes is all that exists. thats what drugs are for.

besides, religion is not always founded on fear. its just how people handle it that fucks it up. christianity, for example, was founded on ideals of love, forgiveness, and truth... what's so bad about that? buddhism and hinduism, they still have nothing to do with close-mindedness or oppressing their beliefs. they are extremely open, pure religions - if you could even call them religions. hindus dont like being called hindus(the british made up the word hindu) because it implies separation from everyone else.
