forget the people who have been beaten up and robbed, what about the people who have been killed.
Ireland is one of the most beautifel places on earth.great golf and good beer!!\"even if one takes every reefer madness allegation of the prohibitionists at face value, marijuana prohibition has done far more harm to far more people than marijuana ever could.\"

I just wish we could abolish religion for good. The world would be a much better place to live in.

Aye, religion, in my opinion, has had its time and we need to move on. Doesnt need to be abolished though, we can still learn alot from how it influenced us for good or bad, it just shouldnt be forced on people at a young age so they can make their own decision when theyre old enough to understand all the concepts involved.
I think this way alot of people will just abandon it.

Religion will never go away, and theres no way to abolish it. Nations have tried it, and they've failed miserably. Religion makes people happy and gives them hope. Theres probably an evolutionary reason that makes religion favorable to the survival of our species. If you take an introductory course in religion, one of the first question that comes up is which came first, society or religion? Could civilization have formed without religion, or at least a basic belief in the afterlife? And studies have shown people who are religious and who pray and attend services tend to live longer lives, have stronger immune systems, and more effectively battle life-threatening diseases.

I still think abolishing it would save far more lives than keeping it around will.

Hey no one said I did not believe in God....geez it was a joke
I just don't accept organized religion because they take what they want from the bible for their own gain...say like bombing little kids in Iraq...hmmm do you think Jesus would use an AK 47 or surface to air missle....oh no he would use that star wars satellite thingy LMAO
