There's an easy way to remedy that... don't buy shitty tobacco! If you go to a specialty smoke shop you can fin some pretty bomb tobacco flavours. Use some high quality baccy (not out of a goddamn cigarette!! ) and it'll give your spliff a distinct and different flavor as well as make it slower burning.
