I'm not one to dispense medical advice but I will add that my mom smoked throughout her pregnancy for me. I did not turn out with low birth weight (quite the contrary in fact) or any other abnormal birth defects. And I turned out to be of higher-than-average intelligence (not to be narcissistic or brag or anything, but I am regarded as quite intellectual by pretty much everybody I know).
Now that doesn't prove anything except that it doesn't fuck up 100% of all babies since it's just one example, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

I smoke weed and cigs. I quit both during both of my pregnancies. Should have quit the cigs for good..but hey, someday I will. I always felt that what I want to do to MY body is my business...except when I am GROWING another human being. That kid has no choice but to accept what's put into mom's body. 9 months is no time at all...give it up for the kids health, for pete's sake!

Im pregnant now 17.4 weeks today i stopped as soon as i found out i was about 6 weeks smoking before i found out.I told the doctor he didnt think it was a big deal as he told me there is no proof of birth defects from pot its tobacco thats worse. It was hard as hell for me to give up and still is hard but why risk hurting the baby.I was the same with my first son but i was more like 12 weeks preg before i found out he is ok but i think its best to give up while pregnant or breastfeeding.

my mom has 6 kids, and smoked with all of them...My siblings and I are all quite intelligent and never had any problems. I didnt smoke with either of my pregnancies, but that was my choice. I doubt my children would be any different today had I toked a bowl or two during that time.

Hello......it's not about the fumes or smoke damage to herself.......its about the THC's effects on the UNDEVELOPED Baby...come on...yea we all loveeeeeeee weed but when you're stoned you know your brain's altered and think about a baby...how could it fuck up it's unborn brain and things that are so delicate at that stage of life.... vaporizing it and CERTAINLY EATING it will sure get the baby fucked up.
