Umm wtf, achohol is a drug, and much more dangerous than weed, even acid.

ganja dont pass the placentral barrier, nicotine does so tell her not to put any baccy in her spliffs. smokin int brilliant for your baby because it reduces the amount of oxygen getting to the developing child, this makes em a bit lighter when there born. still dint do me any harm me ma tells us.........

Thank God I am a man!
But I hand it to you ladies, that pain is something I do not want to go through. I guess women can handle pain better, my wife wants to go through it again but if it was me, one would be enough if I had to push a kid out of me.
On topic, people should never do anything that can harm someone else.

I can't imagine a mind altering drug could ever be good for a baby in the process of developing it's mind.

Do a search using the key words 'marijuana', 'jamaica','rastafari', 'pregnancy' and take a look at what you find. Just for your information. The problem with the information available in more developed countries is that the women studied did not use marijuana as their sole drug of choice. In the Caribbean most people, especially the Rastafari, use ONLY marijuana, hence studies carried out on Caribbean women might be a more accurate area to look for information on the effects of marijuana on pregnancy. From my experience as a Rastafari woman, marijuana does not cause birth defects. Marijuana has been used for centuries to treat severe nausea in pregnancy, it also stimulates the appetite and allows severely nauseated mothers to be able to gain the weight they need to gain during pregnancy. I sometimes wonder if some of the weed available in developed countries is as pure as you would think. Some of the symptoms I have read that are attributed to weed have not been our experience in the Caribbean. If the scientists are correct then most Rastafari children in the Caribbean would be brain damaged half wits with horrible deformities and behavioral problems but this is not our experience. Most of our children are calmer, more alert and generally have less disclipine problems than baldhead (non-rastafari) children. Some of our children have tested higher than average in many of the areas used to test children. I am not saying that marijuana will make children super-geniuses but neither does it create spaced out brain-deads like the stereotypical weed-smoking hippie type that Hollywood seems to like to potray in movies. How do you explain this based on the so-called scientific evidence?
