Well, southern Ontario is a little different:

Everything on your list is called a "beaver".

This leads to much confusion, especially among stoners. "Pass the beaver, man...No, the other one..."

heh heh...I'm so high

Alright, its almost the same as your list...but:

Never heard of 'gauze'. Screens are the metal mesh\grid to keep the pot in the bowl, also about $1 for 5.

A bowl is typically circular, round, with an open top and a hole in the bottom...its what you put the pot in. The screen goes in first to hold the pot.

A bong is anything to do with water/liquid filtration and a bowl; a pipe is anything with a bowl but no filtration. Therefore, a bong can be: a waterbong, a hookah, a gravity bong, a waterfall bong, double-chamber waterbong, triplechamber waterbong. Probably more, but I'm too high to care. Note: All of these are different. Similar, sure, but different.

A bong can be used by 1 person at a time; typically without a screen, the burned weed falls into the water. No cleanup!

A hookah is a bong for 2 or more people, typically with hoses just cause its easier. Same principle as a bong, but the bowl is much bigger so more people can smoke at once.

A double (or triple) chamber bong is just that...it has 2 chambers of water filtration before the smoke is inhaled. The smoke goes in this order: bowl, through water, into chamber 1, through tube, under different water, into chamber 2, into your lungs.

What you call a 'lung' sounds like a parachute...pull the plastic bag down to fill the chamber with horribly evil darksmoke...god those things hurt my lungs. But still, so VERY very high afterwards.

And now to finish this impossibly long post, I like cookes.
