Hey all. ive heard lots of tall tales about smoking devices and from i hear...some ppl dont give things the same names as ppl here in the uk give them. Here are the definitions as i know them, anyone who has different explanations please do tell.

Gauze - bought in packs of 5 over here for 50p. they are metal grids that hold ur smoking material for use in bongs and pipe etc

Bong - Water chamber (like a fizzy drinks bottle) with a tube coming from the bottom, out and up at a steep angle. It holds the gauze with all ur dope/gange/pot. You light and suck out from the top of the bottle where u normally drink from. water cools the smoke, lovely.

Pipe - Usually a small wooden,metal or ceramic device for smoking dope. has a space to hold the gauze and subsequently, the gange.

Hookah - I keep reading that this is just like a bong but instead of a mouthpiece and metal straight tube, there are flexible plastic tubes. We call a Hookah....a double bong. instead of normall sucking out of a bong. there is a tube which goes to another bong base.....giving 2 chambers of water


Screen & Bowl - we dont call it a screen....i think its a gauze. A bowl is the same thing i think. we also dont call it a bowl.

Lung -Top of a bottle with plastic bag lining the inside, u light the dope on top and pull out the plastic, therefore filling the bottle with smoke. remove the dope and suck.

Waterfall - Place top half of a bottle in water. put dope on top. light and lift bottle out of water. the water leaving will create a vacuum and suck dope in. similiar to lung.
