hey I live in Quad Cities. (next to Iowa) A friend and I used to make pipes in our spare time. still have some of em. they arent bad to smoke out of. I never noticed a taste but I dont know. hey have you ever made a "ming pipe" when you make the stem cut a half the stem (long ways) away and install two screens at the ends of the cut. fill with ganja. replace cut section and securely wood glue it. smoke for several months. break off the cut section and you will have bomb resinated weed. repeat. this works very very very very very well I hope you try
