    the FIM method

it'll work with any plant really, as long as you take care of it, it'll go through about a week without really growing much...just clip the top set of leaves without destroying the node, eventually two new secondary branches will grow on either side of what you clipped (i actually just picked the leaves off mine with my fingers) the new branches will take on the role of 2 new tops and they'll grow tertiary branches (i guess that's what you'd call them) and they'll flower too...all my secondary branches, all the way to the bottom of the plant, are flowering now...

    the FIM method

FIM Topping is a way to make your plants grow 4-16 branches in one stress session. Instead of pulling the whole top off you cut about 80% of it off, which results in more branches and a higher yield. FIM topping is recommended to people who top thier plants because in one session you get more branches which in turn cause less stress. The red line on the picture is about where you would cut for an FIM top. hope this helps Peace.
