Recreational Weed States in 2018

Did you know that there are now 30 states in the USA that have some kind of broad law in place that legalizes certain cannabis use. It is anticipated states that will legalize weed by 2020 would be as much as 100% of the USA. Why? Money of course!!!!

If we look at an example of how much money a state can make, Nevada was able to generate more than three and half MILLION in tax revenues in the FIRST MONTH of legalizing weed. Not only that the financial projections are in the region of ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY MILLION DOLLARS over the next couple of years. (As reported by Fortune)
There are 8 states that may legalize and the District of Columbia. They have agreed on the broadest laws for marijuanas legal states for recreational use.
What states is weed legal to smoke? I will try to cover all the states marijuana’s legal for recreational use 2018 but to start here is the first 2.

Alaska
How much weed can you carry? No more than an ounce or enough weed for 30 joints.
What age to be allowed to have weed on you? 21 YEARS old.
Can weed be smoked in public? No. No smoking in public, definitely not in parks or pavements or sidewalks, at business premises or on federalland!
Is it legal to grow it? Yes. Those aged 21 or over are allowed to grow weed but only 3 can be in flower at a time.
Is it legal to buy and sell it? YES but BEWARE this is only through approved and licensed dispensaries.

California
Just this year recreational marijuana is allowed. It started in January 2018, but each city and county are still in negotiations to sort out all the details.
How old do you have to be? 21 years.
How much weed can you have? No more than an ounce.
Is it legal to buy and sell? Yes but you can only go to a licensed dispensary.
Can weed be smoked in public? No.
Is it legal to grow? Yes, but there is a maximum of 6 cannabis plants per house.
