Hmm this is interesting, I've seen lots of posts where guys have said its normal for older preflowers to die off as part of their life cycle but it can also apparently be due to too much K, spraying, heat or high wind - seems to be quite the controversial topic amongst some boards...

Anyone else have any experience with preflowers browning and dying? I can see I am currently in the preflower stage and not in full bloom just yet but would really like to rule out any possible problems incase my harvest gets ruined

Need experienced opinions regarding preflowering/pistils Hey all, first grow, started flowering my 4 bag seed plants on the 21st december 2013 and from what I can tell they are all female and looking really good thus far... My confusion and problem is that the preflower pistils on my most mature plant (one that showed sex first) have started browning and shriveling from the bottom of the plant upwards, the browning starts from the tip of the white pistil and receeds downwards until the whole pistil has become a brown shriveled little hair.
