Like anything else living, if you can reduce stress in any way during the transition I guarantee it will reduce the effects of the environment change. So, if you can temper the change so the plants experience minor change - just like 5 degrees every 12 hours or something, it will surely lessen any potential negative effects on your ladies! Not too easy to do always, but will be marginally beneficial.
d00g Reviewed by d00g on . Can I move seedlings to cooler room? I started them in a warmer room/my living room. I live in an apt and would rather have them in a different room, which is cooler by 15 easily. Even though I have them in a box, covered with a tablecloth with a vase on top, (I'm Sooooo stealthy) lol I would MUCH rather have them in my other room, where I like it cooler. I'm also guessing the best time to make the switch is when lights are on. Should I move the box slowly, closer to the room, or can I just take it in there? Rating: 5
